Unlace is an image transformation application that allows users to upload a photo and modify hairstyle and hair color using AI-based image processing technology. The app processes images only to generate edited results requested by the user.
This document explains what information may be processed, how it is used, how images are handled, and how user content is protected when using the Unlace application.
To use the hairstyle and hair color editing features, users may upload photos into the application. These photos are processed by the system to generate edited images showing hairstyle or hair color changes.
Uploaded photos are used only to perform the requested image editing function. Photos are not used for identity recognition, advertising, profiling, or marketing.
The app does not require users to create an account or provide personal identity information to upload images.
When users use Unlace, the following information may be processed:
· Photos uploaded by users
· Edited images generated by the system
· Device type
· Operating system version
· App version
· Basic diagnostic information for app performance
This information is used only for operating the app, generating edited images, maintaining performance, and improving stability.
Information processed by Unlace is used only for the following purposes:
· Processing uploaded photos to generate edited images
· Displaying edited results to users
· Allowing users to save or share edited images
· Maintaining application functionality
· Fixing technical issues and improving performance
User images and data are not used for:
· Advertising
· Marketing
· Profiling
· Data selling
· Behavioral tracking
Some photos uploaded by users may contain human faces. When a photo includes a face, the system may temporarily detect general areas such as the hair region in order to apply hairstyle or hair color editing effects correctly.
However, Unlace does not perform facial recognition and does not attempt to identify any individual in uploaded photos.
Unlace does not collect, store, identify, analyze, or retain facial data or biometric information.
The application processes uploaded images as a whole image for the purpose of generating edited results requested by the user. Any facial area detection is automated and used only to apply visual editing effects such as hairstyle or hair color changes.
Facial information, if present in an uploaded image, is used only during the image processing operation and is not stored after processing is completed.
Unlace does not:
· Identify who a person is
· Create biometric identifiers
· Store facial template
· Track faces across images
· Build facial recognition databases
· Share facial data with any third party
All image processing is performed only to provide the hairstyle and hair color editing features of the application.
Unlace does not collect or retain facial data. Any facial area detection occurs only temporarily during image processing and no facial data is stored, saved, or retained after processing is completed.
All image processing, face area detection, and hairstyle editing operations are performed exclusively on systems controlled by the Unlace Team, and user photos are not transmitted to any external AI API or third-party machine learning service.
Unlace does not send user photos to third-party AI services for image processing.
Unlace does not share user images or data with advertisers, data brokers, analytics companies, or external marketing platforms.
No third party has access to user uploaded photos or edited images.
During image processing, temporary data may be created to generate edited results. Temporary processing data is automatically deleted after image processing is completed.
Edited images may remain inside the app so users can view, save, or share them. Users may delete images at any time.
Users have full control over their uploaded and generated images.
By uploading a photo and using the editing features in Unlace, users agree that their uploaded images will be processed to generate edited hairstyle or hair color results.
This processing is necessary for the app to perform the requested image editing functions.
By using the app, users acknowledge that:
· Uploaded photos will be processed to generate edited images
· Facial areas may be temporarily detected to apply editing effects
· Image processing occurs only to provide the editing feature
· Temporary processing data will be deleted after processing
· Users may delete images at any time
If users do not agree with this processing, they should not upload photos or use the image editing features.
Unlace is not intended for users under the age of 17. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17.
If it becomes known that a child under 17 has uploaded images or provided information, such content may be removed. Parents or guardians may contact us regarding children’s privacy concerns.
This privacy information may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. Continued use of the app after updates indicates acceptance of the updated privacy information.
